Groundbreaking National Latino Health and Immigration Survey Gauges Attitudes & Experiences on the Affordable Care Act, Health & Immigration

RWJF Center at the University of New Mexico to Release Groundbreaking Poll on Press Call/Webinar Wednesday March 25, 2015

On a press call and webinar on Wednesday, March 25th at 10 AM EDT, the RWJF Center for Health Policy at the University of New Mexico will present the findings of its groundbreaking national poll on Latinos’ experiences with the changing healthcare marketplace, outlook on immigration, and experiences with discrimination. Sponsored by the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation (RWJF) Center for Health Policy at the University of New Mexico and conducted by Latino Decisions, the National Latino Health Survey provides the most in-depth views to date on Latinos’ experiences with the Affordable Care Act (ACA) in the five years since its passage. In addition, the poll includes Latino perspectives on personal health and well-being, and views about immigration and race in their daily lives.

The telephone poll of 1,005 Latino adults in the United States was fielded January 29-March 12 2015 via live-calls (not robo/IVR) to cell phones and landlines, and carries a margin of error of plus or minus 3.1 percentage points.
