Join us for a town hall on the results of a new poll on Latino voters and the 2015 Chicago mayoral election

First day of early voting—March 23 at 9:30 a.m.

Chicago—March 16, 2015— As Chicago faces its first mayoral runoff election in history, a new poll explores the potential influence of Latino voters. The results of Chicago Latino Voters and the 2015 Mayoral Runoff, a survey by Latino Decisions/Latino Policy Forum/NALACC/Univision Chicago will be released at a town hall Monday, March 23, 2015 at 9:30 a.m.

The town hall will be an interactive, open dialogue and will also be streamed live on UnivisionChicago.com.

WHAT:  A town hall to discuss the findings of Chicago Latino Voters and the 2015 Mayoral Runoff, a survey by Latino Decisions/Latino Policy Forum/NALACC/Univision Chicago. Panelists will provide analysis and there will be an opportunity for questions and answers by the audience.

Latino voters, a growing share of the City’s electorate, will play a major role in determining who is elected Mayor of Chicago.  Attendance is open to the public and media, but registration is limited and required. RSVP here.

WHO:  A presentation by Sylvia Manzano, principal, Latino Decisions, will kick off a panel discussion featuring Sylvia Puente, executive director, Latino Policy Forum; Oscar Chacon, executive director, National Alliance of Latin American and Caribbean Communities (NALACC); and Jaime Dominguez, Ph.D., Department of Political Science, Northwestern University and principal director of the Chicago Democracy Project.
