Washington, DC – Partial results of an election-eve Latino Decisions survey of 5,000 Latino voters nationwide and in key battleground states were released in two installments on Election Day, with the rest of the survey slated for release today.  The first two installments focused on the top issues facing the Latino community and their take on the candidates, with data reported for both the national electorate and the following states: Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, Illinois, Texas, Kansas, Colorado, Nevada, Arizona and California.  Results are currently available at

2014 Election Eve Poll

On Wednesday November 6th at 12:30pm ET/9:30am PT, the final remaining poll installment will be released at the National Press Club, in an event sponsored by the Latino Victory Project.  This segment delves even further into the political views of Latino voters and their expectations for action on policy.  Issues covered include immigration reform and executive action; improving the economy; and the environment.  The program will include a full presentation by Latino Decisions as well as brief comments from representatives of partner organizations.  Livestream access to Wednesday’s event will be available here and embargoed data is available in advance (please email [email protected] if you’d like to receive an advance copy of the data).

 

The original sponsors of the Latino Decisions poll were America’s Voice, Latino Victory Project, and the National Council of La Raza (NCLR).  They were joined by the following partners: AFL-CIO, Mi Familia Vota, NALEO Educational Fund and People For the American Way.
