Ayón analysis on Obama administrative relief on immigration

Latino Decisions now provides a regular column in Spanish to the Univision television network news website Noticias.Univision.com, written by Latino Decisions Senior Strategist, David R. Ayón.  The latest column, published on July 31, notes how Latino voters responded to DACA (Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals) in the presidential election of 2012, confirmed by the poll findings this year, and how Latino voters say their voting preferences would be affected in this year’s midterm elections by new administrative relief measures, expected to be announced at the end of the summer.Ayón draws on the recent Latino Decisions poll for the Center for American Progress Action Fund on Latino voters’ views toward administrative relief measures on immigration being considered by the White House which shows 87% of Latino voters would be more favorable towards Democrats in 2014 if Obama provides temporary legal status and work permits to parents with U.S. born children, among other important findings…
