Washington, D.C. — As House Republicans continue to stymie immigration reform legislation, the Center for American Progress Action Fund will release a report detailing the steps that the president can take to begin the process of fixing our broken system. The report examines the president’s broad discretionary authority to set priorities and modify enforcement policies to make our country safer while protecting our families and communities.

The Center for American Progress Action Fund and America’s Voice will also release a national poll, conducted by Latino Decisions, testing Latino voter enthusiasm for executive action on immigration policy. The polling results show extremely high support among Latino voters for a variety administrative policies.

Please join Latino Decision’s Gary Segura, America’s Voice’s Frank Sharry, NCLR’s Janet Murguia, and Center for American Progress Action Fund’s Marshall Fitz on Tuesday, July 1st at 12pm ET, as they discuss the poll’s findings and put them into the context of the current immigration reform landscape.
