Casey Klofstad

Dr. Casey Klofstad holds a PhD in political science from Harvard University and is an associate professor of political science at the University of Miami in Coral Gables, Florida. His teaching and research focus on the influence of society and biology on human decision-making.
Klofstad's work has appeared in over twenty publications, including the American Journal of Political Science, Political Behavior, and Evolution and Human Behavior.  His forthcoming article, “The Political Incorporation of Cuban Americans: Why Won’t Little Havana Turn Blue?” is co-authored with Benjamin G. Bishin, and will appear in Political Research Quarterly.  His book, Civic Talk: Peers Politics and the Future of Democracy is now available in paperback.
